in preparation for leaving north carolina and heading to mississippi where i will be joining blaine and the lovely princess theater to host our first dance party there: BEACHES vs. TEACHES (i might bring some peaches). peep the poster below and let me know what you think about the event.

i think i'll start with the whole history of dev hynez's music career. it all started with what might be the only hardcore band i ever really liked. it was an absurd mix of smart musical construction, hilarity, and SHARKS! yes, it was three guys going balls out and promising never to return.

but after a brief hiatus, dev came back going back to his roots, western country pop? yep, with the help of saddle creek's mike mogus, the newly named lightspeed champion found his sound somewhere between hank williams and elvis costello. he also brought along his cute cute cute friend emmy the great.
