1. for all you guys and guys going out tonight that need something to roll around your probably lame hometown and talk to people you prolly would rather forget, you might as well play this, its not at all cool, but its a good time nonetheless, and a self-explanitory good time at that!
ps this is my blog so i say what i want, the first time whatching the music video for country i was like 11 maybe? and my friends older brother bobby goes "surely they had a budget for this video and could get something other than ugly woman to do this, right"

2. now, many of you guys know my favorite three-piece to ever come out of canada is a band known as born ruffians. three funny guys with a small jangly/thrashy/folky sound with abstract/bookish/sweet lyrics. anyway, watch all the way through this video and look for luke's (the lead singer's) reaction to this brash girl goin nuts behind the mic. who knew the british even had lame people? make sure you watch the whole time though, do that and you know when it gets real funny.
ha ha...I forgot how much joy that "Hummingbird" clip brings me. I LOVE Born Ruffians!
